I’ve lusted after these breeches for close to a year. I got my Dover summer sale preview catalog yesterday and saw they were on close out for half off. So I rushed over right when they opened today before work, hoping that they would have them in stock in my size. They had them, but not in my size, but they had like, 50 of them in my size in the warehouse, so I went ahead and had them order them. They should be here by next Monday. So excited!

I don’t know if y’all remember about a month back, I posted about some big life changes that were in the works for me? Well, they’re finally starting to come into play. It’s very exciting. In the next two to three weeks I’m going to be moving out of my parents’ house into an apartment about an hour away to begin work as an apprentice to an advanced level horse trainer. I’m aiming to get my USDF (United States Dressage Federation) trainer/instructor certification and competition medals (I’m 1/3 of the way towards my bronze) within the next 3-5 years and start my own training/lesson venture.
It’s all moving pretty smoothly and quickly, still trying to get all my ducks in a row. Going to be looking at apartments on Thursday before work and I’m trying to get the paperwork in order to transfer to the local Starbucks if they can live with me only being available in the evenings Monday-Thursday.
So keep the positive energy coming!

Also, if any of my local followers wants to come and visit Danny and I next weekend, shoot me a private message and I’ll let you know when and where the horse show is!

So I’m going to be going to a big horse show with Danny this upcoming weekend. It’s the first time I’ve gone to a show where a group from my stable haven’t gone with me. It’s been a bit stressful trying to get things sorted out as I would always hitch a spot in a trailer from a person who was already going, share a tack stall, etc. But one of the things that stuck out in my mind was this dry erase board my trainer would always bring to write down everyone’s ride time, scores, and placings.
So I decided that I needed one. But I wanted something a bit more artistic, so I got a blackboard and borrowed some chalk pens from work and whipped this out. I think it’s nice looking. I can’t wait to get Danny’s stall all organized and stuff. I want to find a nice wooden fold up chair and take some twine along to hang our ribbons from. Is that bad? That I want to make my horse’s show stall shabby chic?
